A woman committed suicide along with her two daughters and a niece in Bihar's Rohtas district after a family dispute, police said on Saturday.

Urmila Devi (45), wife of Yogendra Singh of Dharhara village took her life after administering poison to her teenaged daughters Sonam (18), Soli Kumari (16) and niece Neeli Kumari (13) on Thursday night, sub-divisional police officer Rasheed Zaman said.
The matter came to light last night when the village chowkidar reported the matter to the police.
Zaman said Urmila wanted her husband to separate from his family to which he did not not agree and this so enraged her that she took such an extreme step.
In a bid to destroy evidence, Yogendra and male members of his family cremated the bodies on Thursday night itself and fled.
The matter was reported to the police by the local chowkidar Puranmasi Singh and a case was registered against Yogendra Singh, his brothers Birendra and Narendra and nephew Shashi Singh, besides two women members of the family, all of whom were absconding after the incident.
