Woman ends life with son in Nashik

A woman allegedly committed suicide along with her son on Thursday in Nashik over reported harassment by her husband, who was a habitual drunkard.

Apparently fed up over reported harassment by her husband, a woman allegedly committed suicide with her son in Nashik, police said on Thursday.

According to police, Surekha Manik Pathare, was fed with harassment by her husband, an habitual drunkard. Irked over this, she jumped into a well at Tarukhedle village in the district with her two-and-half-year old son, police said.

Police have registered a case and are investigating further.
