Woman injured in grenade attack in J&K

The civilian woman was injured in a grenade attack at CRPF picket at Rajouri Kedal in Srinagar.

Terrorists on Thursday hurled a grenade at a security forces picket at Rajouri Kadal in downtown city, injuring a civilian woman, officials said.

The grenade, was lobbed at a CRPF bunker outside the headquarters of Awami Action Committee headed by Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq at around 10 am, they said.

However, the explosive landed on the roadside and exploded, injuring the woman who was rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment, officials said.
