Woman paraded naked

A woman was stripped naked and then forced to march on the road in Shravasti district by some youths.

A woman was paraded naked in Shravasti district by some youths in Janki Nagarunder Bhinga Kotwali.

It is learnt that the woman was stripped naked and then forced to march on the road. She was also asked to spread her vagina with both hands to give a clearer view of her nudity. She was also beaten up with canes and flower petals were thrown at her to humiliate her. It is learnt that the youths paraded the woman to take revenge from her brother .

After the parade she was locked up in a room and and was released only after the intervention of local people. The mother of the victim ( name not to be disclosed ) has lodged an FIR with the police naming five persons.

It is learnt that a man named Munawar’s sister had eloped with Nanke of Janki Nagar some weeks ago. Though the girl returned after some time, Munawar was determined to take revenge. Munawar and his brother Nadir therefore decided to take the revenge of this humiliation as they feared that their sister had been deflowered by Nanke.

They therefore decided to strip Nanke’s sister, Nanke’s sister was caught, her hands tied with a dupatta and she was paraded stark naked.
