A Monroe woman shot her boyfriend because he would not let her sleep, according to an arrest affidavit.

The affidavit said that police found Roshonda Anding''s boyfriend in his car with a single shot to his hip.
He was taken to LSU Medical Center, reports the Newsstar.com.

The 21-year-old, of 3002 Burg Jones Lane, was charged with aggravated battery.

Anding told police that she shot her boyfriend, "because he was bothering her and wouldn''t let her sleep," the affidavit said.
