Bank’s General Manager (Treasury) A K Ghosh inaugurated the workshop. Ghosh emphasised the need for awareness of new derivative products for hedging foreign currency exposures like options, interest rate swaps, currency swaps etc. He talked about the complexity of these products and their judicious deployment.

SBI Corporate Centre Mumbai Chief Manager (Derivatives) Arunangshu Paul gave a presentation on various types of derivatives. Bank’s International Banking Chief Manager R N Sinha coordinated the workshop. Around 35 participants from corporate sector in and around Indore attended the workshop. Forex Treasury AGM I S Vashist also addressed the workshop. Devesh Goyal proposed the vote of thanks.
