In its letter to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), the association has asked why the expressway was inaugurated in a hurry even before the authorities could resolve the issues with the farmers’ and a proper completion certificate was awarded .

“We have requested the YEIDA to put up street lights, find a solution for the tyre burst problem and set up auto workshops. If such basic facilties are not provided, the authority should shut the expressway or make it toll-free. If they fail to act on these grievances, we will file a PIL,” said Ramesh Mehta, president, YECWA.
