Yechury seeks action on Narayanan's observation

Sitaram Yechury today said the Govt should take necessary action in the wake of National Security Adviser MK Narayanan's observation.

CPI(M)leader Sitaram Yechury on Friday said the government should take necessary action in the wake of National Security Adviser MK Narayanan's observation about terrorist groups manipulating the stock market.

"It is all part of country's security. Only a few people will have the information at their command. But if that information, if they have verified and think is correct, then necessary action should follow," he said.

Observing that it was not enough to just make the statement of that nature, the CPI(M) leader said "what is required is to ensure that this does not continue".
