“Advani is the fountainhead of corruption. Why is he not talking about his children, who used to take suitcases from chief ministers of BJP-ruled states,” he asked. “I have enough proof... Let BJP leaders answer my charges, I will release the evidence.”

Kumar was reacting to Advani’s statement in Hubli on Sunday that the state BJP had got rid of corrupt people, in an apparent reference to former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, who founded the KJP.

When asked if Yeddyurappa gave suitcases, Kumar said, “They intimidated him. In order to save his chair, he had to oblige.” A BJP spokesperson said Advani was among the most respected national leaders.
