The Supreme Court has set Thursday as the deadline for the actor’s surrender.

A prison official said a separate cell was being readied for the actor at Yerwada.

Keeping in mind the incident when a guard had to face action for shaking hands with Dutt during his earlier stay at Yerwada, the jail authorities have instructed everyone to follow a “certain code”.

When contacted inspector general of prisons (west region) Rajendra Dhamne, under whose jurisdiction the Yerwada jail falls, said he had received no order about Dutt being shifted there.
