As part of its cultural carnival Virasat 2010, Delhi University's Maharaja Agrasen college, in association with SPIC MACAY, organised a 5-day yoga/meditation camp by Dr CB Singh, the renowned yogacharya of Gandhi Bhavan.
Dr Singh who has been imparting yoga education for last 32 years taught the participants useful asanas like Vajraasan, Kaagaasan, Padmaasan and Sukhaasan. Participants also got to know the correct way of doing Surya Namaskar, which is considered to be a tricky asana.

After the yoga training session, he also answered the queries posed by participants regarding food habits (aahar), medicine (aushadhi) and treatment of diseases (rog upchaar).
Not only students and teachers of the college but also residents of the neighbouring societies attended the camp, convened by Assistant Professor Dr Deepa Sharma.
