Yusuf XI, Star Club, 9th Mile register easy wins

YUSUF XI BHOPAL, Star Club Pitampur, 9th Mile and Champions and Champions won their respective matches at the Agniban Trophy tennis ball night cricket tournament played at Usha Raje Cricket grounds in Indore on Friday night. In the first match, Yusuf XI won the toss and opted to bat first against Baba XI. In the allotted 10 overs, they piled up 90/4. Nazir Khan scored 31 runs and Babi scored 22.

In the first match, Yusuf XI won the toss and opted to bat first against Baba XI. In the allotted 10 overs, they piled up 90/4. Nazir Khan scored 31 runs and Babi scored 22.

In reply, Baba XI batsmen failed to read the accurate bowling of Fazal who captured four wickets and helped his team’s easy victory.

In the second match, Star Club (Pitampur) batted first and scored 59 runs in 10 overs against Vindhyachal XI. Prashanth was the highest scorer for his team.

He batted well and scored a useful 29. Ashish bowled well and capture three wickets, while Sanjay took two wickets. In reply Vindhyachal XI were bundled out for 38 ruins and lost the match by 21 runs.

Mukesh and Raju bowled accurately to capture two wickets each to help their team win the match without any difficulty.
