Harbhajan Singh takes a dig at Wankhede curator after high-scoring IPL 2017 tie
Harbhajan Singh was quite critical of the pitch at the Wankhede Stadium after Mumbai Indians were defeated by Kings XI Punjab in their IPL 2017 encounter.
Mumbai Indians off-spinner Harbhajan Singh took a sarcastic dig at the Wankhede Stadium curator for preparing a belter of a wicket for their final Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 home game on Thursday.

A total of 413 runs were scored in Thursday’s thriller in which Mumbai Indians suffered a seven-run defeat against Kings Xi Punjab.

Kings XI Punjab posted 230 for three in their 20 overs, courtesy Wriddhiman Saha’s 55-ball 93 and skipper Glenn Maxwell’s 21-ball 47.
Mumbai Indians, in their reply, scored 223 for six. Lendl Simmons smashed 59 while Kieron Pollard blasted a 24-ball unbeaten 50 and Hardik Pandya’s 13-ball 30.
Although Saha was adjudged Man of the Match, Harbhajan Singh joked on Twitter that it should have been the Wankhede curator Ramesh Mhamunkar. “Man of the match @ wankhede #curator almost 460 plus runs in 40 overs.Time is near when only bowling machines will b bowling not bowlers,” tweeted Bhajji.
Barring the matches against Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Lions, all other games at the Wankhede Stadium has witnessed either par scores or sub-par totals.
