Also, it seems oblivious to the fact that a human is standing nearby and capturing its “criminal activity”.

The clip is accompanied by a caption that reads, “Security to aisle 7. Shoplifting in progress. There’s no rush.” To this, a fellow Twitter user defends the animal by jokingly commenting, “as someone with an amateur interest in tortoise law, I don’t believe that this constitutes shoplifting as my client has not yet eventually left the premises.” Here are some more humorous comments.
