Couple ends life after families say no to marriage
The couple is said to have been in a love affair and had eloped with each other a few days back after their families refused to get them married.
Tension gripped the Gornaghati area of Jhadol Tehsil of Udaipur after bodies of a young couple from the village were found hanging from a tree on Sunday.

The incident came to light on Sunday morning when few local residents spotted the bodies hanging from the tree and raised an alarm. The shocking news spread like wild fire, and soon, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. Later, a team of Jhadol police station rushed to the scene and initiated the investigation.
The man was identified as Bhanwar Lal Lankobra, a resident of Makradev area of Jhadol. In the initial investigation, it was found that both the victims, Bhanwar Lal and his lover, hails from Makradev area of Jhadol Tehsil. They wanted to get married and left their house, but their family brought them back last week. After staying separately, they eloped once again on Friday and were found hanging from the tree on Sunday, police said.
This is the third incident in last six months of couples committing suicide following refusal of marriage from their family.
