The Houthis have warned that any foreign involvement in support of Saudi Arabia could trigger retaliation, with senior Houthi official Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti saying the group has the capability to target Saudi airports and seaports if it chooses to escalate. According to Al Mayadeen, Al-Bukhaiti also threatened Turkey and Pakistan with retaliation if they provided military support to Riyadh. The warning came as Türkiye and Pakistan agreed to provide forces and capabilities for rapid deployment to Saudi Arabia under their commitments to the Makkah Joint Defence Pact and its collective defence arrangements. The developments raise concerns over potential threats to Saudi Arabia’s air and maritime infrastructure as regional military tensions intensify.
