Pushkar Police on Monday registered a FIR against driver and conductor of a bus following the compliant by a 43 year old German tourist Alexzendra who alleged that they tried to sexually assault her on may 16.

According to incharge of Pushkar police station, Hanumana Ram, German tourist lodged a complaint against driver and conductor but she did not have the number of the bus.
He said "I have started an investigation into the incident and efforts would be made to trace the bus which would help in identifying the culprits.”
“German tourist had been arrested in connection with a case which related to the possession of Hashish. Her passport has been confiscated by the police and case was in the court,” he said.
Alexzendra said that she had informed the German embassy and sought its help to take up the issue with the Rajasthan government.
Giving the details of the incident, she said “ I was coming in a bus from Ajmer on May 16 after meeting my acquaintance Dickson . The passengers got down when the bus reached Pushkar. Finding her alone, driver and conductor stopped the bus and tried to rape me but I faced them boldly. I jumped out of the bus and one of the motorcyclists Pintoo gave me lift which saved my life,” German tourist said.
