Jaipur: Kids helped unmask their paedophile teacher who had shot 77 video clips
The kids have recorded their statements in front of the police and have also submitted the videos, which remains as a proof of his Rameez’s actions.
Thiteen-year-old Feroze (name changed) was whisked away by his private tutor to a separate room in his house on the pretext of some ‘masti’. The tutor then made the child watch a video of him molesting another kid, all the while cooing to Feroze that this was perfectly normal.
But Feroze saw through the façade and ran away, avoiding the man ever since then. Five years later, a sense of déjà vu haunted him when he heard a friend speaking about the same teacher.
What followed was an unprecedented tale of courage and wit as a group of 8-9 schoolchildren helped unmask the biggest paedophile that Rajasthan has ever seen.
“For several years, the rumours were doing the rounds of Ramganj that Rameez used to do something wrong with children. Other kids would often tease the children going to study in the house of Rameez but no one did anything about the matter. It was then that we decided to do something about the matter,” said Nawaz (name changed) a student of class 11.
Feroze and his friends decided to check the computer of Rameez without his knowledge to verify the truth about the existence of the videos.
“We chose a time when Rameez had taken other children from the school to a trip to Udaipur, Chitorgarh and Mount Abu on January first week. Thereafter one of our friends managed to get into his house and get the hard disk of his computer,” said Feroze, who is now 18.
The kids noticed that some of the folders in the hard disk were hidden and secured with passwords.
“After initial hiccups we managed to decode the information and found the videos. We were not ready for the shock and fear that we felt after watching the videos which featured Rameez molesting the children,” said Nawaz.
The kids said that the videos were meticulously labeled with names of children.
“We decided to go to the school and submit the video to intimate them of Rameez’s actions. But the school management later called us and said that they are firing him but won’t lodge any FIR. The entire management was present at the meeting,” alleged Nawaz.
