Nine killed, 28 injured in bus-truck collision in Rajasthan

Nine people, including a woman and a child, were today killed and 28 others injured when a bus in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district, police said.

The incident occurred in the wee hours when the private bus was on its way to Ganganagar district collided with the truck near Dhannasar village, some 60 kms from district headquarter, SHO Rawatsar Dinesh Rajoria said.

Seven persons were killed on the spot, while two succumbed to injuries on their way to a hospital, he said, adding, condition of ten injured was stated to be critical, who have been referred to Hanumangarh government hospital.
