'Police will tactfully deal with Gujjar protests'
Rajasthan's new DGP KS Bains says the state police will be "tactful" while dealing with the Gujjar agitation and show restraint.

Rajasthan's new DGP KS Bains says the state police will be "tactful" while dealing with the Gujjar agitation and show restraint.
Bains, who took over from AS Gill as the top cop on Saturday, said the police department will sort out all the issues amicably as per rule of the law. "The efforts of my force will be to be tactful," Bains, a 1974 batch IPS officer, told PTI.
On the Gujjar agitation, he said the Gujjars' demand has to be looked after by the government and that his duty was to "ensure law and order" .
Bains appealed to the social organisations and NGOs to help in restoring peace. "By making joints efforts we can find a solution to any problem," he said.
