Rajasthan minister joins Fit India campaign, tags Vasundhara Raje on social media

Joining #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign, Rajasthan’s higher education minister Kiran Maheshwari posted a video of herself doing yoga on social media and tagged chief minister Vasundhara Raje to share her video exercise regimen.
With forthcoming International Yoga Day and union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s recent call #HumFitTohIndiaFit to bring fitness wave among people, Maheshwari has posted her video on Twitter.
She said, “Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spread the message to India that if people of our country remain healthy, the country would move towards prosperity. Carrying forward this message of Modi, #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign is on. I will only urge people to exercise, meditate and do yoga regularly.”
“I will also request chief minister Vasundhara Raje, who does yoga everyday, to share her video, so that people get inspired and adopt a healthy lifestyle. I will also request Lakshyraj Singh (of the former royal family of Udaipur) to post the video of his fitness regime, so that people of Mewar get inspired.”
In her tweet, she said, “#HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign is an effort to make the vision of healthy and prosperous India extensive. I am sharing a video my daily yoga regime. I request chief minister Vasundhara Raje and Lakshyaraj Mewar to post their video of yoga and exercise to inspire people.”
In his video uploaded on Twitter, Rathore was seen doing push-ups and he also urged people to post pictures and videos of how they keep fit and send a #FitnessChallenge to their friends on social media.
The minister challenged actor Hrithik Roshan, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and badminton ace Saina Nehwal and all three of them took up the challenge.
Kohli had challenged Prime Minister Modi, who on Wednesday, posted a video that shows him stretching and doing several yoga poses. “I appeal to every Indian to devote some part of the day towards fitness. Practise any set of exercises you are comfortable with and you will see the positive difference it will make in your life,” he said.
