SIT records statement of witnesses in SHO killing case
A Special Investigation Team of Rajasthan police on Thursday recorded statements of some witnesses in the killing of SHO Phool Mohammad, who was recently burnt alive by a mob in Sawaimadhopur.

As per the state government decision, the SIT team led by IG Bhupendra Singh will handle the case until CBI takes over the investigation.
"We today called some people and recorded their statements. So far, no arrest has been made and the matter is under investigation," Singh told PTI.
Mohammad was burnt to death by the mob after a youth R Meena committed suicide by jumping off a overhead water tank on last Thursday.
Meanwhile, the deadlock between the police, district administration and the family members of Meena continued today. "Meena's family members have not accepted his body which is in deep freezer in Kota," IG Singh said.
His family members are demanding a compensation package.
