Woman, two children run over by train in Rajasthan’s Dholpur

The bodies of the unidentified woman, aged around 30 years, and two children -- aged 4-7 years -- were spotted on railway tracks near Rajkheda bridge.

A woman and two children were killed and another child was injured after they were run over by a train in Rajasthan’s Dholpur district.

The bodies of the unidentified woman, aged around 30 years, and two children -- aged 4-7 years -- were spotted on the railway tracks near Rajkheda bridge, Kotwali police station head Satish Kumar said.

Another boy was found to be injured and was admitted to a hospital where he is being treated, he said.

“It appears that the woman along with her three sons jumped in front of a train sometime in the night (Thursday). Efforts are on to identify the bodies,” he said.
