Badal invites Mamata to swearing-in
Akali stalwart Parkash Singh Badal who will take oath as chief minister of Punjab on March 14 has invited West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee to attend the swearing in ceremony.

Akali stalwart Parkash Singh Badal who will take oath as chief minister of Punjab on March 14 has invited West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee to attend the swearing in ceremony.
"Badal telephoned Banerjee on Friday and invited her to attend his swearing-in as chief minister at Chandigarh," state secretariat sources here said.
The Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP coalition retained power in Punjab in the recent assembly election in the state.
