Congress, TC alliance to continue till 2011 Assembly poll

Upbeat over their alliance with the Trinamool Congress which secured them victory in Lok Sabha elections, the West Bengal Pradesh Congress on Saturday said that the party would fight the 2011 Assembly elections along with the party to dislodge the Left Front from power.

Upbeat over their alliance with the Trinamool Congress which secured them victory in Lok Sabha elections, the West Bengal Pradesh Congress on Saturday said that the party would fight the 2011 Assembly elections along with the party to dislodge the Left Front from power.

"The alliance we formed with the Trinamool Congress for the Lok Sabha polls will continue till the next Assembly elections to defeat the CPI(M)-led Left Front," WBPCC General Secretary and CLP leader Manas Bhuinya said here.
