2004: Prabhu Shankar Agarwal obtains decree from a city court to evict Thakur from T8/1/4A, Jagmohan Mullick Lane to build Halidram food plaza. Thakur obtains stay from High Court

March 27, 2005: Agarwal and Gopal Tewari offers Rs 4 lakh to Thakur vacate his possession of 170 sq ft. Thakur rejects offer.

March 30, 2005: Tiwari shoots Thakur’s nephew in the leg. Agarwal was in London

March 30, 2005: Police start case of attempt to murder. Arrests Tiwari from Hyderabad. Agarwal arrested on arrival from London after two months

July 12, 2005: City detective department files charge sheet, trial begins at city sessions fast track court. More than 40 witnesses examined

27 January 2010: City sessions court convicts Agarwal, Tiwary and three others of conspiring to murder. Agarwal jailed.

29 January 2010: Agarwal sentenced for life
