Describing industrialist RP Goenka as a true champion of industry, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday condoled his demise.
"Today we have lost a true champion of industry," Banerjee said in her condolence message highlighting Goenka's contribution to the country.
The 83-year-old Goenka who had established RPG Enterprises in 1979 passed away on Sunday morning after a brief illness.
