The state-wide alert will remain in West Bengal despite the Supreme Court order on Thursday.
“The state-wide alert will remain despite the Supreme Court’s stay on verdict in Ayodhya title suit for a week,” CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said.
State Home Secretary Samar Ghosh and DGP Naparajit Mukherjee held a high-level meeting with police officers to review security measures.
