According to the list released late last night, Secretary, Adult Education and Director, Mid-day Meal Project Kamran Rizvi has been appointed as the new Cane Commissioner and Secretary Education, R K Mittal will now take the additional charge of Adult Education department.

Director, Education for All, Deepak Trivedi has been given the additional responsibility of Director Mid-day Meal project.

Vice-Chairman, Allahabad Development Authority, Himanshu Kumar has been made the Excise Commissioner and Secretary Programme Implementation, Jitendra Kumar has been shifted to the Department of Revenue in the same capacity, it said.

Commissioner Faizabad, RC Srivastava has been transferred to Department of Sports and Youth Welfare as Principal Secretary,
while L Venkateshwar Loo has replaced Srivastava.

DM Mainpuri Ajay Kumar Shukla will be the new DM Ghaziabad and Anita C Meshram will replace him.

Secretary Irrigation, B L Meena has been given the additional charge of World Bank's Irrigation Project whereas Muktesh Mohan will be DM of Gonda, it said.

Besides these, 65 PCS officers have also been transferred, it said.
