20-day-old gets PAN card
Anmay Singh was born nearly a month ago but had already got a Permanent Account Number card when he was just 20-day-old. "We applied for the PAN card at the time of Anmay's birth and it was formally issued on April 24. Thus when he was just 20 days old, Anmay became the youngest card holder," his father Sushil Kumar Singh claimed.

Anmay Singh was born nearly a month ago but had already got a Permanent Account Number (PAN) card when he was just 20-day-old.
"We applied for the PAN card at the time of Anmay's birth and it was formally issued on April 24. Thus when he was just 20 days old, Anmay became the youngest card holder," his father Sushil Kumar Singh claimed.
Anmay was born on April 4.
Singh, who runs a voluntary organisation Aastha, said that the PAN card was required as he wanted to invest something in the name of his son.
"As I was planning to buy some investment bonds in the name of my son and was looking to open a fixed deposit account in the bank, I consulted a lawyer and was told that the PAN card was required for financial transactions," he said.
