The Central Bureau of Investigation special court had issued non-bailable warrants against the two on December 17 when they did not appear before it, said the probe agency's counsel Lalit Kumar Singh.

After the duo surrendered before the court, special judge Shashimauli Tiwari fixed December 24 as the next date for hearing.

The CBI heard the case on December 6 regarding the demolition of the disputed 16th century Babri mosque in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh in 1992.

A total of 89 people have testified and the 90th witness appeared in the court on December 17 but both Pandey and Brij Bhushan Saran Singh did not appear.
