UP: 6-year-old allegedly raped by 10-year-old boy

A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a ten-year-old boy in Inchauli area in Meerut district, police said on Sunday.

According to police, the incident occurred on Friday night when the minor girl, daughter of a rickshaw puller, entered the neighbouring house to get some water.

She was then called by the boy in a room and was allegdly raped. After hearing her cries for help, the girl’s family members arrived at the scene and found her bleeding, they said.

The victim was sent for a medical test and a case has been registered against the accused on the basis of a complaint by the girl’s family.

Efforts are on to take the boy in custody, police said.
