Yogi assures Lucknow TCS staff of full support

The employees told Yogi that besides their livelihood, the company’s move was directly related to the brand image of state capital. Yogi assured them of his full support on the issue.

Employees of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) met chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday and requested him to not allow the software major to move operations to Noida.

The employees told Yogi that besides their livelihood, the company’s move was directly related to the brand image of state capital. Yogi assured them of his full support on the issue.

The women employees in the delegation also presented ‘rakhis’ to the CM while seeking his intervention in the issue.

According to members of the TCS delegation, the CM feels that it’s the moral duty of TCS management to remain in Lucknow as the state has supported them for the last 33 year.

“The (TCS) officials are not turning up despite promising a meeting twice,” the CM is said to have told the employees.

Yogi told them that now a meeting was fixed for August 10 and he would try to keep convince the TCS management to change their plans.

The chief minister also promised the TCS staff to safeguard their interests when he meets the CEO of the company.
