In Mumbai: 16 injured after overcrowded bus topples in Thane
At least 16 passengers were severely injured after a private luxury bus headed to Uttar Pradesh toppled in Thane on Monday.
At least 16 passengers were severely injured after a private luxury bus headed to Dhangadhi in Nepal from Borivli, toppled in Thane on Monday.

The injured were taken to a private hospital while the ones with minor injuries have been shifted to civic hospital.
The accident took place near Naglabunder, on Ghodbunder Road, because the bus was overloaded.
A passenger said,” The incident took place in a matter of seconds. We were unable to understand what happened.”
An official from the regional disaster management cell in Thane said, “Of the 16, seven have been admitted to Vedant hospital while the remaining were taken to Citizen hospital. The Kasarwadavli police are on the spot”.
A police officer from Kasarwadavli police station said,” We are registering a case.”
