According to police, the girl studied at a local night college and during the afternoon , she attended a computer course at NRIT computer institute in Ghatkopar. The girl requested Mudesia to delete the photograph. “Mudesia refused to delete the photograph and told her that it was safe with him. She was under tremendous tension and was afraid,” said the police officer. “She hanged herself inside the room after locking the door. When her father knocked, there was no response. The door was later broken down and she was found hanging ,” said the officer. The girl was declared dead on arrival by hospital authorities.

After find the recording , the girl’s father approached the Ghatkopar police. “She was worried that I will come to know. We caught him and handed him over to the police,” said the distraught father, a rickshaw driver, at his house in Ghatkopar .“He should be hanged as my daughter would have been alive if he didn’t harass her,” said the girl’s mother. The girl is survived by her parents, two younger sisters and a brother. The police are investigating if the accused similarly harassed other girls
