THANE: A 26-year-old man has been booked for allegedly raping his 11-year-old step-daughter for over a year in Thane. The incident came to light on Sunday after the girl’s friends had gone to the survivor’s home and witnessed the man sexually assaulting his daughter, said the police. The girl then narrated her ordeal to her friends after which they approached the police. The accused has been booked, while the girl has been sent for a medical exam, police said.
