The camp was organised by Navi Mumbai Shikshan Sankul in association with the Thane Tahsildar office at RF Naik High School. Attestation of documents was also done at the camp. The Nationalist Congress Party bore all the expenses of issuing the certificates.
The camp was inaugurated by Environment Minister Ganesh Naik in the presence of Member of Parliament Sanjeev Naik, president of Shiskshan Sankul MLA Sandeep Naik and Mayor Sagar Naik. Sandeep Naik said: “Most students face difficulty in getting certificates of caste, domicile certificates and other such certificates required for admission. They have to go to various government offices within a short period.”
“We gave them guidance and ensured that they got the certificates without any hassle. They did not even have to pay the requisite fees,” he added.
