Central panel inspects 2nd airport site
The Central Environment Experts Appraisal Committee visited the Navi Mumbai site for the proposed airport on Wednesday and said it is hopeful of a solution.

The Central Environment Experts Appraisal Committee visited the Navi Mumbai site for the proposed airport on Wednesday and said it is hopeful of a solution.
“We have looked at the site and will be discussing the issue with Cidco on Thursday. We have made some observations and we are hopeful that some solution will be worked out soon,” said Naresh Dayal, chairman of the committee.
The committee is the final authority on giving the environmental clearance to the project.
