Cleaner run over by truck, dies
A 23-year-old cleaner died after being hit by an oncoming truck in Dahisar (East) on Friday afternoon.

A 23-year-old cleaner died after being hit by an oncoming truck in Dahisar (East) on Friday afternoon.
Cleaner Namdev Khandre was helping the driver of his truck get the vehicle out of a traffic jam when Sailani Shaikh, 27, who was allegedly driving his truck rashly, hit him.
Khandre died on the spot, the police said.
Shaikh was arrested and charged with causing death because of rash and negligent driving.
