Congress leader Dashrath Patil quits
Disappointed over leaving Nashik-West Assembly constituency to NCP, former Mayor and senior Congress leader Dashrathappa Patil has resigned from the party.

Disappointed over leaving Nashik-West Assembly constituency to NCP, former Mayor and senior Congress leader Dashrathappa Patil has resigned from the party.
"I was expecting party ticket for Nashik-west but it was given to NCP. Hence, I've resigned the party," Patil told reporters.
Patil further said that he might contest as an Independent from Nashik-west.
NCP, in its list released yesterday, has given its candidature to Nana Mahale from Nashik-west.
