The 28-year-old had halted at the spot on his way to Pune when two unidentified men forcibly entered the car, threatened him with a gun and a knife.

They stole his mobile phone, ATM card and Rs 2,500 cash. The accused then drove Shirsat to Panvel, pushed him out on the highway and drove away with the car. The Sion police is investigating the case.
