A two-member team comprising a retired Bombay high court judge and a retired chief secretary shall probe the Adarsh Co-operative Housing Society scam, chief minister Prithviraj Chavan said on Saturday.

The committee comprisees Justice J A Patil and retired bureaucrat P Subramaniam.

"The judicial committee will submit its report to the state government within three months," Chavan said.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is also inquiring into the Adarsh scam which has so far led to the resignation of then chief minister Ashok Chavan, and a former bureaucrat and State Human Rights Commission member Subhash Lalla.

Chavan had announced the setting up of a separate judicial commission last month and the terms of reference and its scope will be declared soon.
