The event, conducted in partnership with Australian media consultancy firm Boost, helps small businesses avail of opportunities for advertising packages across publications under HT Media for fixed, discounted rates through the year. The seven-day expo, which will be held from May 13 to May 18, will have packages offering up to 80% savings on the card rate.

“The event is a one-stop shop for first-time advertisers and retail advertisers where we offer highly discounted advertising, media plans, creatives, zonal packages, and a dedicated team to guide them round the year,” said Nitin Chaudhry, business head (West and South), HT Media Group.

Last year, more than 1,300 business clients attended the expo and signed up for advertising packages, and many returned on Wednesday to renew deals. “I have advertised with several newspapers before, but this is the first time I have received value-for-money advertising,” said Rohit Shah, who runs the Tip Top Plaza in Thane.

The expo is also a plus for advertising agencies. “It gives us the confidence to give clients trustworthy deals and make yearlong projections,” said Bela Chinivala, media manager of ad agency 3BF, who represented household wares firm, Kraftwares.

Siddharth Kenia, of Kenia Ad Agency, said he would bring up to seven business clients for the expo this time. “The events aims to make advertising simple,” said Shyam Singh, representative of the Australian firm.
