Journalist's murder: probe is on track: R R Patil
Maharashtra home minister R R Patil on Wednesday said that Mumbai police commissioner Arup Patnaik had met and briefed him about the investigation into the murder of journalist Jyotirmoy Dey.

Maharashtra home minister R R Patil on Wednesday said that Mumbai police commissioner Arup Patnaik had met and briefed him about the investigation into the murder of journalist Jyotirmoy Dey.
"Investigations are on and the probe is on the right track. Breakthrough is expected soon," Patil told reporters.
The home ministry is facing a barrage of criticism after Dey's murder in the city last week. Journalists' organisations here have demanded that Patil should resign, owning moral responsibility.
