Karisma Kapoor, Sunjay Kapur divorced
The couple had initially moved a mutual consent divorce petition before the court in 2014
With the family court accepting their consent terms in April, Karisma Kapoor and Delhi-based industrialist Sunjay Kapur got officially divorced on Monday.

The couple had initially moved a mutual consent divorce petition before the court in 2014. Later, the consent was withdrawn after differences cropped up between the two. Kapur filed a fresh petition asking for judicial separation in December last year.
Karisma had also filed a case of harassment against Kapur and his mother.
Sanjay and Karisma got married in 2003. Things, however, turned sour soon. The Delhi high court advised the couple to explore the possibility of a settlement. Karisma moved out of Kapur’s house in 2010, and permanently shifted base to Mumbai. In 2014, the two decided to end their 12-year-long marriage and filed for divorce through mutual consent.
Kapur had claimed Karisma used the kids as ‘pawns’ and did not let the Kapurs meet them frequently in order to claim more money. Kapur also said she deprived his ailing father access to his grandkids
