Wishing the Parsi community on their New Year, Bombay Parsi Punchayat (BPP) Chairman Dinshaw Mehta hoped Navroz would usher in prosperity to all Parsis.

Actor Boman Irani, wishing all his community people happy Navroz, tweeted, 'may our tribe increase and they keep saying save the tiger'.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also wished Parsis 'a wonderful year filled with happiness,joy and good health'.

While, actress Bipasha Basu, tweeted, she wanted to eat Parsi food today.

BPP Chariman Mehta said he hoped the needy and deserving Parsi families get flats lying vacant with BPP.

The over 350-year-old BPP, which looks after the welfare of the Parsi-Irani community, controls around 5,000 flats in Mumbai, he said.
