The Maratha Sangh was against the title of the film, which they claimed would have a negative effect on children.

On Thursday, it called off the agitation on the condition that Manjrekar puts in a disclaimer on the issue. The organisation said that Manjrekar was a Maharashtrian they did not want him to face monetary losses.
