The block will start on the intervening night of SaturdaySunday at 00.15am.

During the block, traffic on all six lines of the main and the Harbour corridor, besides goods shed lines and siding (parking) lines, will remain suspended.

All 24 suburban services on the main line and 28 suburban services on the Harbour line will remain cancelled. Even a few outstation trains will face disruptions.

The new foot-over-bridge will provide east-west connectivity to residents, who otherwise were forced to take a detour of the Kurla station. Because of the block, the last locals on the main and the Harbour lines, which depart at or after 00.30am, will depart an hour earlier.

The CR informed that the last local (Karjat) on the main line will depart from CST at 11.30pm. The last local on the Harbour line for Vashi will depart at 11.38pm.

Thereafter, all the northbound locals will depart from Kurla, except a Khopoli-bound local that will depart from Thane. The last local for CST f rom Kurla will de par t at 11.56pm.

Journey of all other southbound trains will be short-terminated at Kurla, excluding a Titwala-CST that will be terminated at Thane.

After the block is lifted, the f irst north- bound l ocal for Kasara will depart from CST at 5am, while the first local on the Harbour line will depart for Panvel from CST at 4.26am.

According to CR, the PuneMumbai Sinhgad Express, Mumbai-Pune Sinhgad Express, Manmad- Mumbai Rajya Rani Express and Mumbai-Manmad Rajya Rani Express, will remain cancelled because of the block.

The railways will short-terminate and regulate many outstation trains also.
