Chavan was to travel in the helicopter from Raj Bhavan on Tuesday morning. Fog, combined with bad weather, first delayed the take-off. While the helicopter took-off after some time, it had to land within a few minutes.

“Shortly after it took off, there was a signal warning of some technical snag after which the pilot aborted the flight. The chopper then landed at the Raj Bhavan helipad,” said an official from the Mantralaya.
