This is the third accident on the sea link in the past week.
The two persons were rushed to the Lilavati hospital, they said.
Earlier this week, a car had dashed into a taxi killing the driver and a 14-year-old boy.
According to MSRDC officials, the main reasons behind frequent accidents on the sea link are speeding, over-taking and U-turns, which is not permitted.
"Regular complaints have been coming with regard to drivers taking U-turns from the Worli end of the sea link," an official from MSRDC said.
